The Barnham Broom GC Hill Course is designed by Frank Pennink at a length of 6495 it has 18 holes with a medal par of 71 and a 71 SSS Rating. Situated in the town of Barnham Broom it is one of the East Anglia Golf Courses that RateYourCourse recommends that you not only play but provide a golf course review for our golf communities.

The Hill Course is another of Pennink's designs and as its name suggests, golfers on the Hill Course, can enjoy fine views over the surrounding countryside while rising to the challenges posed by constant breezes where the bunkers jealously guard the greens.

In my golf course review of Barnham Broom Hill Course I found the course was pretty easy to get to and well signposted and on arrival the staff were very friendly and efficient. The changing rooms Pro Shop and Putting Green I rated 8 out of 10 but unfortunately the Greens out on the course were good but slow and only rated 7. The Tee's were not very even and you hit off a upslope on a lot of shots which in my rating gave them a 4 out of 10. When it came to the Fairways they were by far the worst part of the course they were patchy covered with clover and weeds and generally in poor condition. The Cleanliness and Manicuring of the Course was not good and the Course Yardage Marking could be improved. I found the Layout and Design of the Course very Bland and the Challenge presented by the Course was not a difficult one. The clubhouse/sports bar was not good value for money and I found it to be pretty expensive paying up to £ 7.00 for a sandwich.
