The Bedford Golf Course is a Parkland Golf Course designed by David Pottage at a length of 6471 it has 18 holes with a medal par of 72 and a 72 SSS Rating. Situated in the town of Biddenham it is one of the East Anglia Golf Courses that RateYourCourse recommends that you not only play but provide a golf course review for our golf communities.

The course designer David Potteridge was clearly influenced by the likes of Augusta National when he designed The Bedford.

Fantastic drainage at The Bedford means no temporary tees or greens which makes it a joy to play 365 days of the year. It is a first class round of golf that any player will find difficult to resist.

Visitors at The Bedford are made very welcome be it during the week or at weekends. The Bedford is a very unique golf club with a modern approach for all to enjoy.

All visitors are welcome to use our comprehensive practice facilities. We have a grass and astro turfed practice area with chipping green, practice bunker and putting green.

In my course review of The Bedford Golf Club I found the course to be very enjoyable and it had a good layout. I thought the par 3's were the strongest part of the course design with a good mix of length. The greens were in good condition when I played. The course was very dry despite all the rain we had had. This would be a good course to play in the winter. It is not a long course but enjoyable for any standard of golfer. All the staff made me feel welcome and the food was good value.
