In my golf course review of Blackmoor golf club I found the course to be in great condition and the greens were in especially in good condition after all the rain. It's a great layout, not long but tests all players as you cannot miss the fairways as there is plenty of heather. My favorite hole on the course is the 10th, its a dog leg left to right, your second shot is a mid to short iron to the green. All staff and members make you feel very welcome. The only negative I have is the putting green by the first tee was not in use as it looked like it was being dug up, so no proper putting green to practice before you play There was a small green next to the 10th but it was on a slope so it didnt give you a good feel for the greens. I am sure that as this is a first class club that this is just a temporary situation. This is a golf course that I could play every day without getting bored. Its a MUST play!!!

Whilst doing my Blackmoor Golf Course Golf Course Review I received a great welcome from the staff and they really have a great Pro shop, getting around on arrival is easy and everything is clearly marked. For the time of the year the course was in good condition with great tees, greens and course bunkers in addition the course was clean and well presented. Although the layout an design of the course is good the course presents a very tough challenge to all levels of golfers. I really enjoyed the Blackmoor Golf Course and one of the best things is that it was great value for money.

I have played this course a lot going back to my amateur days and I never get bored playing it. A great layout with not a bad hole on the course. This course is a challenge for every player and is always in good condition all year round. This golf club has very friendly members and staff. A must play!
