The Bramshaw Golf Course Forest Course is a Parkland Golf Course at a length of 5774 it has 18 holes with a medal par of 69 and a 68 SSS Rating. Situated in the town of Lyndhurst it is one of the South East Golf Courses that you may want to play and add to our golf course ratings to see if it will become one of a RateYourCourse top golf course

The original course, the Forest, is the oldest in Hampshire. It was built privately on New Forest heathland in about 1865 and became our course when the Club was formed in 1880. The ever-changing scenery of humps, hollows and meandering streams test golfing skills and judgement within an idyllic New Forest setting. Its open aspects and rolling heathland are in complete contrast to the Manor Course.

During my Golf Course Review of Bramshaw Forest I found the accessibility of the course to be very good and I was also welcomed warmly on arrival. There were buggies and carts readily available and the changing rooms and pro shop were both very good. The putting range is fantastic and the putting green is very nice aswell. The course is surrounded by beautiful scenery and the atmosphere around the course is great for golf. The tees, fairways and greens were all great and I had a timely tee off with a good speed of play during the round. The course bunkering is very well placed and the course yardage marking is superb along with an excellent 19th hole. The design of this course will give a challenge to most golfers who play it. In summary for my Bramshaw Forest Golf Course Review I found this course very enjoyable to play and think the value for money is brilliant and rated it 8 out of 10.
