Compared to somewhere like Carden Park, Herons reach was a let down. Don't get me wrong, its still a decent knock, but it wasn't up to the standard I expected of a De Vere. People walking their dogs on the course, teenage fourballs hacking around holding up play, and using range balls to play with! Tee Boxes were scrappy and only yellows to play off (no whites) so course played very short (5800 yds).
