The Coulsdon Manor golf club is a public golf course with loads of character set within Greater London. What I liked about the setup was that the course challenged all aspects of the game. I was later to find out that the course had been designed by H.S Colt who had designed Wentworth and over 300 others. The course has a fantastic atmosphere and sitting outside the Couldson Manor Hotel overlooking the 18th to enjoy a quite drink is pretty special. Returning to the course one of the characteristics of the course was it's ability to draw the player into the game as well as the history of the course. The greens were in great condition although a little slow, but this was to protect them against the heat of the week. The course has both club and competition tees for those who would like a little more if a challenge. The course is a classical Park Course with stunning oak trees on many of the holes.
