Golf has been played on this scenic course for well over a century. Its combination of sandy soil, with the latest in irrigation and sprinkler systems, means superb conditions can be maintained even in wet weather, ensuring year round play.

The course overlooks the dramatic ruins of old Cowdray House, which was destroyed by fire in 1793, and provides breathtaking views over the Sussex Downs and the Estate's woodland. The course is maintained to the highest standards by an experienced team of green keepers. The splendid new clubhouse is the perfect place to unwind after a game, and for golfers or non-golfers alike to enjoy wonderful fine food and drink in convival surroundings.

In my golf course review of the Cowdray Park Golf Course it was great to play a great Downland Golf Course, the only shame was that the range was so far away. The course is a good test of skill with greens playing away from you mostly.
