Designed by James Baird, the acclaimed course at Disley Golf Club is a delight to play. Although undulating, it is not difficult to walk. With generous tree-lined fairways and good sized greens protected by stategically placed bunkers, it is acknowledged to be a fair challenge for golfers at all levels. Almost all of the greens lie on a ledge or plateau and require a studious accuracy in approach. Whilst each hole presents a unique and interesting challenge, of note are the particularly testing 3rd and 4th holes. The greens are equal to the finest in Cheshire and although the course is not over long it is a real test of golf!
Over the years the club has staged prestigious events on both a local and national scale. Held in great esteem by knowledgeable golfers, it is one of the leading clubs in the area. And the course is a great delight for those who particularly appreciate a dramatic and beautiful landscape
