The Elemore Golf Club is a Parkland Golf Course designed by J Gaunt at a length of 6,003 it has 18 holes with a medal par of 69. Situated in the town of Houghton Le Spring it is one of the North East Golf Courses that you may want to play and add to our golf course ratings to see if it will become a RateYourCourse best golf course.

The course itself encompasses two par 5's,two water holes, some lengthy par 4's,an elevated tee or two, at least one tricky dogleg, but several opportunities to score well providing you can hit a fairway or two and sink a putt on the generous greens.

For my Golf Course Review of the Elemore Golf Club I found this course is a great course and can be very challenging for even a scratch player. the layout is great with 2 par 5 holes, 2 water holes and 2-3 monster par 4 holes making for a good mix. I play here every Sunday starting my round at 9am and will complete the 18 holes by 1pm every sunday without fail, there is very little hold up on the holes. The greens are well kept and the fairways are in an above average condition.

The only thing the course is missing is a drving range but if your simpy out for a game then this is the place to come to in the north east.
