Situated in the town of Highcliffe it is one of the South West Golf Courses that you may want to play and add to our golf course ratings to see if it will become one of the RateYourCourse best golf courses.

The club has 350 men and 100 lady members and, currently, there are vacancies for membership.  The club secretary, Graham Fisher, will be delighted to hear from keen golfers interested in enjoying the benefits of belonging to a long established private members club.

A warm welcome is given to visiting golfers and good value green fees are discounted further during the winter months and during the summer months after 4.00 p.m.  The club's catering has an envied reputation and package deals for society and corporate golf offer a great day out for a reasonable cost.  For details contact the secretary who will be pleased to help.

The clubhouse has benefited from a recent extension with comfortable new changing rooms for ladies and gents.  A feature of the new club lounge is a first floor balcony with fabulous, panoramic, views of the course.

Whilst doing my Highcliffe Castle Golf Club Golf Course Review a discovered that it was a dangerous place to play as the fairways are very close together. The Scenery and Environment is not great and the course is flat and uninteresting but it is clean an well manicured. One of the bad features of the course is its layout and design which is not good and the course itself doesn't present a challenge to the more accomplished golfer. The good news is the Highcliffe Castle Golf Club has a great 19th hole and it this helps to make up for slow played rounds.

In my course review I found everyone to be friendly. Even though this course is short it will still test you, as you will need to hit it straight, has a good mix of par 3's long and short its great fun to play.
