This ball has excellent distance off the tee and feels very good off the club as well as having great ball flight and trajectory. The control with the irons and control with short game were both brilliant however the ball could do with more stopping power on the greens. In summary I thoroughly enjoyed using this ball and I rated its value for money as 10 out of 10.

I always liked the old pro v 1 x but this ball is in a different league to the old.

Massively long off the tee, it checks up on three quarter pitch shots into the pin and you can count on it stopping on hard greens from 200 yard 3 irons.

It feels super silky when you are striking the ball well, and gives you great feedback if your not to correct yourself.

It has a long smooth trajectory that glides through the air and lands softly,

I might start buying new balls from the shop instead of pearl grade lake balls.

Many golfers say that the these luminous balls are different and do play as well as their white counterparts. Well I can tell that that is not true I have now played two consecutive rounds of golf in similar conditions with both the white Srixon AD 333 and the Orange Srixon AD 333 and as far as I am concerned there is no difference between them. The Availability of the Ball is excellent and it is kept by most pro shops and it is good value for money. During both games I hit drives of well over 300 yards with both the white Srixon AD 333 and the Orange Srixon AD 333 so their distance off the tee I rated as 10 out of 10. The Ball Flight and Trajectory of the ball was good and it didn't seem to deviate to much off the target in the air. Although the ball is meant to be a little harder the feel off the club was good and according to Srixon themselves ''The AD333 2 piece golf ball is now even faster off the club face and longer than it’s predecessor, yet with the same great feel and playability.'' As we don't have caddies here in the UK being able to see your own ball is a great advantage and this in my opinion makes up for a slight drop in control with the short game. The Longevity of the ball is excellent and I Rated my Overall Enjoyment of the ball as 10 out of 10 as it was both fun to play with and orange ball and it was as functional as the white version, so I can see why the AD333 is the best selling ball in the UK

Ball lasted really well and felt good off the driver clubface. It's the iron play which I noticed the most though and on short irons you acheive a tremendous amount of spin which can be good in getting the ball to stop, but at times you ended up with a bit too much spin.

Overall an excellent alternative to a Pro V1 I think especially of you can get these on offer.

The club looks amazing and I really like the smaller head and it sits on the teeing ground really nicely. For those of you who want to tinker the Titleist 910D3 Driver has patented, innovative, SureFit™ Tour, dual-angle hosel provides precise, independent loft and lie adjustments to fine tune ball flight for more accuracy and control. Luckily for me all these settings had been made for me by Titleist as I had been to a Titleist custom fit center and I my first drive with the club was 280 yds straight down the fairway. So by upgrading to the new Titleist 910D3 Driver I have gained 20 yds of distance and a lot more accuracy. Another feature of the club is the additional high performance weighting which increases stability and creates a low and deep CG for medium launch with mid/low spin. In my testing compared to my old D3 I was able to reduce my spin by over a 1000 rpm which gave me a much more consistent ball flight and better trajectory. Unfortunately all good things come at a price and the Titleist 910D3 Driver is not cheap so I marked it a little down on value for money but apart from this I have no problem in recommending this club to other golfers.

The feel off the club was lovely, meduim softness so not like smooth butter as the Srixon AD but enough to give you feedback on your ball strike.

It stopped quickly enough with my long irons on the green, and plenty of back spin even with my 8 iron, my only fault with the ball is that it didn't stop quick enough around the green.

As for driving, its as long as any of the other tier 1 balls out there, the flight is penetrating and you get a descent run out.

I would happily play with this ball regulary.

When it came to chipping It felt slightly harder around the greens and didnt get as much spin, but I definitely don't think it was to my detriment. Overall a good ball and I would use again.

The ball had very little feel off the club and both control with the Irons and short game was poor this was due to the ball feeling hard. One plus factor of the Srixon Z Star Golf Ball is that it lasts longer than some of its competitors.

This driver gives off a strong ball flight and I found it good for shaping shots. For me it seems to be a bit longer off the tee.

The ball however didn't have a great feel off the club and I felt that I really didn't have control with the irons and whilst chipping the ball felt a little hard which effected it's Control with the short game. One of the best features of the ball is that it lasts long and has great Cut-Proof Cover Durability provided of course that you don't loose it. So for those of you who are not to stressed about the control in the short game and want great value for money and durability then this ball is a great choice.

Has great look/sound and feel to it. With a completely redesigned head over the last model the 910H generates higher launch with less spin which I found gave me greater control. And with the new SureFit , dual-angle hosel technology which is also in the woods it provides the ability to make precise, independent loft and lie adjustments for a better flight with more control to fit your game. A must club to have in your bag.

For those of you that like technical settings the club has the Surefit settings with dual-angle hosel technology that provides the ability to make precise, independent loft and lie adjustments for a better flight with more control. One of the first things that I noticed is that the club makes getting the ball off the ground easily even without a tee and Titleist says that the 910H generates higher launch with less spin for greater control and consistency. For me the easy of hitting this club was a huge surprise and whether you belt it like a driver or cruise it like a 6 iron it stays straight and true. During the review I kept on watching the ball climb as it left the club face even though my model has the lower 17 degree loft. As a non fan of hybrid clubs in the past I can now say that the Titleist 910 Hybrid has converted me and will it will remain a constant feature in my golf bag. In a summary the club may be a little bit on the expensive side but as far as I am concerned the benefits it will provide to your game far out way the costs.

This is a very user-friendly blade that fits the eye for all players. Mizuno wedges provide the most soft, solid and consistent feel available, but this dose not mean you lose distance you just get a better feel. This is a great wedge for around the green and bunker play. The club sits good on the ground even when you really open up the club face for the big lob shot. A great club to have in the bag.

The Mizuno MP-58’s iron's are INCREDIBLY forgiving! The feel of a Mizuno iron is just different in my opinion, you may notice a much softer feel then other clubs. To me that you gives more feedback so the feel is top class. The look of the club is very close to a blade but all the foregiveness of a cavity back which gives you plenty of confidence to hit the ball. This is a very easy club to shape and control all you shots.

I personally use the MP68 and if i was going to change away from using blades these would be the one I would use. The muscle back gives the club excellent consistency with enhanced feel and when you look down it looks like a blade which I like. As like all the top brands Mizuno provide a variety of shafts and my testing set was fitted with the Dynamic Golf S300 which is a stiff shaft. When I was hitting with these I did not lose any length compared to mine and are deadly accurate. The ball feels great of the club face a very solid feel and great control I like the spin you get with shorter irons it's not to much.

Although the bag really looks great its performance is a little lacking and even with the patented lower stand position it never seemed to fold out easily. Also the Mizuno's AeroStrap™ with triple layer shoulder padding and IZZO® strap attachment didn't allow the Twister to be easily carried and it felt uncomfortable during the round. A detachable wrap around main pocket offers the option of a lightweight summer or multi-pocket all season bag which I thought was a very clever idea. The Club Storage Compartments were really not good and the clubs didn't seem to fit nicely in the bag. Another feature that is lacking on the bag and brings down the overall design points is the fact that the bag doesn't provide an adequate holder for an umbrella. The manufacturer claims that this bag can be used as a trolley bag as well which I found not true as the bag not only looked out of place on the trolley was practically inadequate. So in summary this may be a good bag to take out with a selection of clubs for a quick round or on a summer holiday but not one to be used on a regular basis especially not if you play regularly in the rain.

One of the advantages of the TaylorMade Rescue is that it small head design gives the player a lot of confidence no matter what the lie, especially in the second cut of rough. TaylorMade says the club has Flight Control Technology which for you and me means the club has the ability to to change the face, lie, and loft angles don't forget this cant be done during a game. In the TP model you also have the ability to choose between 2 different custom shaft options which is not really an option for most of us as we wouldn't feel the difference. The club has a low Center of Gravity that makes it easier to launch the ball high and long and I found that on the course the club was only just behind the 3 Woods in distance off the tee. So for those of you who want safety off the tee and are prepared to drop a little distance this is the club for you.

I think it is always a good sign when you can pick a club and get it going off the middle in your first few hits it shows that its setup is good and the it has a good sweet spot. The irons are also forged so for those of you that want to get them adjusted by a club maker they will be easy to change. The Titleist AP2 Irons can not be classed as discount golf club set but I still believe that you get what you pay for and they are well worth the price.

The reason why I was trying the Mizuno is that I had just purchased a more expensive glove that had split on the palm after hitting 100 balls on the range. Sometimes with gloves it feels like they take an age to get soft but this was not the case with this glove and it felt comfortable within hitting ten shots. A great feature of the glove is its very prominent release tab that attaches tightly to the the ample velcro strip adding to the tight feel of the glove and this also makes getting it off between shots very easy. The golf glove comes in two color options namely blue and black and inside the glove you will find a unique serial number so it seems that the manufacturer has enhanced the value of the product, even though the glove is a little bit more expensive then other products in the range I think its quality easily justifies the additional cost.

In the past I have battled with Golf Trolleys that do not fit in the car and end up being placed on the top of the golf bags making them a potential hazard. When it comes to pushing the trolley it seemed to be very easy but it did take a lot of getting used to as I have always pulled my trolley. Another great feature of the trolley is that it comes with an option of winter tyres so when things get wet it is not an issue to use the trolley. The trolley also comes with a set of easy to use straps that fix the top and the base of the bag securely to the trolley so even after a bumpy round the bag doesn't move position. For those of you like me that play golf in the rain often the trolley has an umbrella holder accessory which is pretty useful and easy to attach. Other gadgets like gps's and yardage lasers are easily attached to the trolley and it also has a plastic covered score card holder. So to summarize the PowaKaddy Twinline 3 Push / Pull Trolley is a really useful piece of of golf equipment backed up in the UK by a strong local manufacturer and available in most Golf shops.

I have both a 52 and 56 degree wedge in my bag but they are from the tour so have the legal grove. I find that the feel you get is the best out there. They are both great for distance control plus they are very good for around the green on chip shots. When looking down on the club they look great and I like the thicker topline. I would not have any other wedges in the bag.

In my view Titleist make the best putters. This style of putter has been around for a long time now and it's still going strong. The feel is great with the milled face and with the changeable weights you can choose the correct one for you. The ball roles very true with this putter. This is the putter that I have been using for a few years now and I won't be changing.

This is one of the best fairway woods around Titleist don't make any bad woods. I found this club went further than most with a great ball flight. It has a great look to it and you will find its very easy to hit from tight lies and the feed back of the face is great, having a real soiled feel. A great club to have in the bag.

This is one of the best fairway woods around, you can change the face angle to suit your shape of shot, also what is great about the club you can change the shaft and keep the head. I have tried most of the settings and it works well if you want to hit more draw or fade, it gives a great ball flight and the feel is soiled.

This is a great putter for helping you line up correct with 2 ball look, I found you can tell better if the face is open or closed, the ball roles true and has a great feel it dose not feel hard when putting has more of a softer feel than most putters so you get a good feed back.

According to Cleveland the putter has a new and improved visual alignment warning aid and it assists players who otherwise struggle with consistent alignment and putting address position. I was missing a lot of putts and couldn't pinpoint the problem but it seems that the experts at Cleveland have established that missed putts are often caused by poor alignment. The technology in the VP 109 gives golfers instant feedback to both hand position and eye position, thereby dramatically increasing impact consistency and distance control. Another great feature of the putter is the face insert, which provides a soft yet responsive feel as well as helping to move the Center of Gravity lower and deeper in the head. From the Golfers view the Cleveland VP 109 is a blade putter with a slant plumber’s neck hosel and full shaft offset and it comes in an variety of lies. One of my favorite features of the putter is the grip that really suits my way of holding the club as I like to have both thumbs on the grip for touch and feel. I have tried the putter on fast greens and due to the textured elastomer face insert you don't really need to make a hard stroke to get the ball rolling.

During a recent round at Burhill Golf Club I was introduced to the Bushnell Range finder by one of my golfing buddies. We used the Rangefinder on all the short holes and it was great to be able to hit a confident golf shot based on the correct yardage. Another great feature of the Rangefinder is that it has a pinseek mode which enables the user to spot the distance to the pin with 100% accuracy. Unlike a GPS this device requires line of site so it will only be useful in a situation where you can aim at the target. The Rangefinder comes in a convenient carry case so getting it out on the Golf Course is very easy and it won't cause any delays on the course. For those of you who don't mind sharing the Rangefinder can be used by the whole 4 ball on the short holes to make sure you all know what we are doing. In Summary this is one of the best pieces of golf equipment available on the market . It is guaranteed to drop your golf scores especially if you are like me and end up playing a lot of different golf courses without a yardage book.

To start off with the product really looks great and the one I purchased had the Mizuno Blue and white colours like the image shown. Storing 14 clubs in this bag is really not an issue as each club will have its own compartment which Mizuno call a 14-way Mizuno Kabuki™ top cuff. The bag also has 2 easy access zippered side pockets and 2 large front facing Pelican pockets as well as 3 front facing. So the point being that when the bag sits on the trolley all the pockets are easily accessible providing the bag is placed correctly. Another really nice touch is the Mizuno Chiller Pouch TM which can fit 2 smaller bottles in very comfortably and keeps the contents well chilled. The bag has some conveniently placed carry handles so getting it in and out of the car is really not a problem and it also has a shoulder strap. The only thing that let the bag down is the provision for storing the umbrella which I felt is very poor and when on the bag the umbrella gets in the way. To summarize as a cart bag the Mizuno SPEEDSTER II is great value for money and a lot of thought has gone into making sure that it looks after the clubs and provides lots of easily accessible space.

The model that I have is the 13.5 degree with a Tour AD YSQ shaft 75g with X flex, the reason I wanted 13.5 degrees was to make it a strong 3 Wood for hitting off the tee. When addressing the ball I really like the larger longer face of the 909F2 and it gave me a lot more confidence than my pervious 3 Wood. The club is really accurate and as mentioned by Titleist the 909F2 has and extra 1/2 degree of loft as opposed to the 909F3 which helps when hitting it off the fairway. I also found that the club doesn't bounce and this is a feature of the club having a forward contact point. When I was hitting the Titleist 909F2 3 Wood I was easily able to achieve club head speeds of over 105 mph without any problems from either the clubhead or the shaft. In a nutshell the Titleist 909F2 3 Wood has changed my game as I was tired of hitting huge headed golf clubs that I couldn't control. So it looks like the Rescue is going to be returned to the storeroom as I now have an amazing club to get off the tee when the 1 Wood swing goes west.

The first time I got the idea to try a set of gloves was when I took my kid to a very cold training session and he put on a set of gloves. So here I was thinking that you couldn't use a set of gloves without either tearing them or loosing the club on the follow through, 200 balls later on the range neither had happened. I do admit that the gloves do feel a bit strange at first but once you get used to them they work a treat and keep your hands warm. The grip on the gloves is surprisingly good and there is still sufficient feel on the short chip shots. To be honest I would say that these Masters Wind Stopper Gloves winter gloves are a must for any serious golfer who doesn't want to loose any practicing time during the really cold winter months. What I forgot to mention is that they are very reasonably priced at under £20.00 which is a small price to pay to have warm hands on the course or range.

What I like about the product is that it gives me awareness of where my wrists are during the swing which helps in setting the club and I wear the bracelet on both wrists. One weird fact is that since wearing the bracelets I don’t get any cramp pains that I class as tendinitis but this could maybe be due to not drinking alcohol and my body getting used to hitting loads of balls. Another factor is that most of my hitting at the moment is taking place off mats which at most ranges have concrete underneath so many of the impacts for bad swings could have resulted in the jarring and hence with better ball striking less jarring therefore less tendinitis.

In my golf equipment review of the TrionZ dual therapy bracelet I’ve been thinking hard for some time about how to describe my thoughts on this product. Its essentially an elasticated cloth bracelet with magnets attached. The theory is that negative magnetic fields will “naturally improve the flow of blood and oxygen to areas of injury to facilitate healing and cell regeneration”. There is also a lot of information given about helping to rebalance the mind, body and soul. Rory McIlroy wears one, and endorses it.

Perhaps asking someone like myself to review this product was bound to result in a very critical appraisal, given my medical background (I’m a doctor). But given the fact Rory is a golfer I admire, and I’m a keen golfer prepared to consider anything that will improve my own game, I gave it a go and wore it continuously for a week. The first thing that I’ll report is that it definitely contains magnets. I found this out by going to the Trafford centre one day, which resulted in me setting off every security gate I passed through. I actually got searched in Boots by the security guard who thought I was on the steal.

Then I had a round of golf, and played really well in what I have to say were very challenging conditions. I probably hit the ball as well as I have done all this year. That got me thinking about the bracelet in more detail. Here are my conclusions:

The concept of magnetic fields causing health benefits are unfounded and without any good evidence. I work intermittently in the close vicinity of magnetic fields many MILLION times stronger than these bracelets (MR scanners) and feel no health benefit. I actually had a scan on my knee several months ago, which diagnosed a torn medial cartilage. It took half an hour to do, and when I got out the scanner, it felt just as bad as it did before I went in. However, this is not what the benefits from such bracelets is about, and how it truly works. Yes, you heard me right - I do feel that many people WILL perceive benefits from it. Not because of magnetic fields, but because of the power of the mind. You only have to read one of Bob Rotella’s books to understand that the game of golf is 90% mental, 10% physical. Slight negative thought patterns can have a devastating consequence on your game. Anything that can give you a mental advantage should be seized upon as a positive. The same phenomenon is seen in the medical field – its called the placebo effect. It is a very real experience of symptomatic benefit, despite being a “dummy tablet”.

Therefore, when it comes to the TrionZ bracelet, I wont ridicule anyone for wearing one. In fact you’ll probably see me wearing this one on my next round. Just don’t wear it shopping !

One of the advantages of the equipment is that it not only keeps you warm but it assists in blood circulation to the major muscles used in the golf swing. I have used the product in cold conditions with a golf shirt over the top and in very cold temperatures under a golf jacket and with both applications my movement wasn't restricted. Another thing that I really like about the Under Armour product is that it really fits tightly and this is better than having a loose garment on your arm that you have to adjust during the shot preparation. The product is also available for kids which is really a great way to keep the youngsters warm and motivated in the cold months. The only negative about the product is that its upfront cost is a little expensive especially if you require more than one set, the product does have Anti-Odor Technology but I wouldn't risk using it for more than one practise session.

As we all know after a game of golf in winter it is almost impossible to get your shoes clean not to mention dry so a shoe bag is a must. The Mizuno Shoe Bag bag has a double zip system with rubber ends that make it easy to grip the zip when your hands are cold so this is a nice touch. Another good feature of the bag is that it stops the shoes from stinking out the car. So for those of you looking for a great branded product at a reasonable price this product is definitely a good choice.

The muscle back gives the club excellent consistency with enhanced feel and this means greater control for the low handicappers. The club also sits pretty flat on the ground which helps when aiming and I find this helps in selecting a distant target. The club availability is from 3 Iron to PW and the only drawback is that no 2 Iron is available for the set. As like all the top brands Mizuno provide a variety of shafts and my testing set was fitted with the Dynamic Golf X100 which is a extra stiff shaft. When you get down to the hitting of the clubs that is where the Mizuno MP-62's come into their own as they as long as most other clubs and are deadly accurate. The ball feels great of the club face with very little impact vibration and you can generate loads of spin from most of the Irons. So for the lower handicap golfers who don't mind spending a little extra they won't be let down by the Mizuno MP-62's.

This ball is perfect for those of us that really don't need to spend extra money on a ball that doesn't last and is to good for our abilities.

This ball is long of the tee with an amazing feeling off the driver and a superior soft feel around the greens. Although it maybe felt harder of the wedges it had as much spin and control as the more expensive Titleist Balls. The ball is excellent through the air and is very stable in windy conditions and it has a high resilience which helps it perform in the wind. Of the balls that I have played with this must rate as one of my favourites, it is great value for money and has the abilities of the Tilteist ball.

One of the the features of the ball is that it really has a nice feel off the putter face and this is carried through to the irons. Length off the tee is not a problem with this ball and it can be hit huge distances and provide great spin on the approaches to the green.
