In my golf course review of The Dorset Golf and Country Club Lakeland I found the course to be set in great scenery and environment. Staff and members make you feel very welcome. The course was in good condition for the time of year, greens were a nice speed and rolling true. I liked the par 3's best you have a good mix of short and long a good test of golf. You get good value food in the clubhouse.
An enjoyable day out

The hotel is worth staying rooms are great for a golfing break. Course was in great condition when I played I thought the 12/13 holes were the best on the course a good test with water on both of the holes.

In my golf course review of The Dorset Golf and Country Club Lakeland I found it to be great value for money, what you get its a great place to play well worth a day out or stay in the hotel. There is also another 9 holes but I did not play it. The Staff and members make you feel welcome. The course was in good condition when I played but the bunkers were not well looked after.

In my golf course review of The Dorset Golf and Country Club Lakeland I found the Staff and members to be friendly and helpful. The course was in good condition but the only bad thing I could say was the bunkers were not well looked after. You get great food in the clubhouse and it's also great value.

In my course review of Burnham and Berrow Golf Club I would say this is one of the best links courses in the South West. Course was in great shape for the time of year greens were still smooth and a good speed. A great test from all tee's you play 9 holes away from the clubhouse then head back. I thought the par 3's were the best holes on the course.
A MUST PLAY!!!

For my Golf Course Review of the Abersoch Links Golf Course I think this is a course that requires some thought when playing as there are plenty of gorse bushes, bunkers and a few ditches to contend with. The last six holes are actually parkland and offer a completely different game to the first twelve. The Members are extremely friendly and welcoming to other Members and visitors alike and the catering is very moreish. The views from some of the tees are absolutely breathtaking and this is a course that needs to be played more than once as it can be a tricky beast dependent upon the various weather conditions on offer.

In my course review of Frilford Heath GC Red Course I found the course to be a great heathland course. You have to hit straight of the tee as most holes are lined with tree's and heather. Course was in good condition when I played, greens were a good speed and true great for the time of year. I have now played the Red & Blue courses both are great to play, the red is my favorite as its an old traditional layout.
A great day out

In my golf course review of Blackmoor golf club I found the course to be in great condition and the greens were in especially in good condition after all the rain. It's a great layout, not long but tests all players as you cannot miss the fairways as there is plenty of heather. My favorite hole on the course is the 10th, its a dog leg left to right, your second shot is a mid to short iron to the green. All staff and members make you feel very welcome. The only negative I have is the putting green by the first tee was not in use as it looked like it was being dug up, so no proper putting green to practice before you play There was a small green next to the 10th but it was on a slope so it didnt give you a good feel for the greens. I am sure that as this is a first class club that this is just a temporary situation. This is a golf course that I could play every day without getting bored. Its a MUST play!!!
