The Midlands does not correspond to any current administrative area, and there is therefore no strict definition. However, it is generally considered to include the counties of Cheshire, Derbyshire,  Herefordshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Rutland, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire,  and Worcestershire.

Golfing Months: Golf can be played all year round but during the winter months Nov-March most of the courses will use temporary greens to avoid frost damage in the mornings and all weather tees throughout the day.
