The next generation of Mizuno blades, the MP-58 combines the workability of a traditional muscleback with the forgiveness of multi material construction.

MP-58 - Modal Analysis Design
An 11 gram Titanium insert, forged directly into the outer muscle of the MP-58, increases thickness behind impact for a unique solid feel whilst dramatically increasing perimeter weighting for stability from off centre hits.
A thinner topline and sole (than the retired MP-57) anchor the MP-58’s COG close to the clubface – ensuring that increased forgiveness is not created at the expense of a penetrating ball flight or workability.

More forgiving than the MP-62 and more workable than the deeper weighted MP-52 , the MP-58 Ti Muscle gives shotmakers a new uncompromising alternative.

This model is designed to conform to the 2010 Condition of Competition rule.

In my golf equipment review I have feel that Mizuno make some of the best irons in golf. The Mizuno MP-58’s iron's are INCREDIBLY forgiving! The feel of a Mizuno iron is just different in my opinion, you may notice a much softer feel then other clubs. To me that you gives more feedback so the feel is top class. The look of the club is very close to a blade but all the foregiveness of a cavity back which gives you plenty of confidence to hit the ball. This is a very easy club to shape and control all you shots.
