The Pryors Hayes Golf Club is a Parkland Golf Course designed by John Day at a length of 6054 it has 18 holes with a medal par of 69 and a 69 SSS Rating. Situated in the town of Oscroft it is one of the North West Golf Courses that you may want to play and add to our golf course ratings to see if it will become a RateYourCourse best golf course.

The jewel in the crown must be the picturesque par 3 16th measuring a total of 181 yards. Other holes of note are the 4th which is a tough driving hole for big hitters and not so big hitters. The 17th is a short par 5 but rarely is its green reached in two, due to the slight dogleg left and the water hazard protecting the small green.

There are a total of seven holes containing water hazards with the par 4 11th having a water hazard running from the tee to the green splitting the fairway in two.

Since opening in 1993 Pryors Hayes has matured steadily and is now recognised as a premier North West golf course to play. Since the change of ownership in April 1999, the experienced golf professional management team has made some dramatic improvements in the course layout.

During my Golf Course Review of the Pryors Hayes Golf Course I found the ease of booking the round to be great and the course also has very good accesibility. I felt welcome when I arrived and the availability of the buggies and carts was very good along with great changing rooms and a very nice pro shop. The putting green and practice range were both very good and this is all situated in a very nice area with great scenery surrounding it. There were no delays for tee off and I had a great speed of play during the round. The course has excellent tees, fairways and greens and the 19th hole is also very nice. The course bunkering and course yardage marking throughout the course are really good and I rated the layout and design of the course as 9 out of 10. In summary of my Pryors Hayes Golf Course Review I thoroughly enjoyed playing on this course and I think it is brilliant value for money.

In my Pryors Hayes Golf Course Review I rated the ease of booking the round as 10 out of 10 and found the course to be very accessible. I experienced a warm welcome on arrival and found their to be lots of buggies and carts ready for use. The changing rooms were great as well as having an excellent pro shop. The course is surrounded by lovely scenery and environment and the atmosphere throughout the course is ideal for golf. The tees were brilliant along with the fairways and greens which were both fantastic. I had a timely tee off and there were no delays while playing the round. There is great course bunkering and equally good course yardage marking as well as a very nice 19th hole. The cleanliness of this course is very good and I think this course gives a good challenge when playing it. For my Pryors Hayes Golf Course Review Summary I think rated the value for money of this course as 10 out of 10 and thoroughly enjoyed playing on it.

For my Golf Course Review of the Pryors Hayes Golf Course I Played on the 07/07/2011 and found that the course was easy to get to and the staff really make you feel welcome. The facilities offered by the course including the ladies changing room and Pro Shop are excellent but the practice range and putting green could be improved. The Golf Course is set in a very scenic environment and it provides a great atmosphere for playing golf. We got out onto the course with a timely tee off and the general condition of the course was good with the greens being the best with a rating of 10 and the Tees the worst at 6 out of 10. When it came to the Cleanliness and Manicuring of the Course I was very impressed and it showed a keen interest from the staff in keeping the course in good condition. The Challenge presented by the Course was 10 out of 10 so that was probably the cause of the round being a little slower than one would expect. In summary the Pryors Hayes Golf Course is an really nice venue to play Golf as it gives good value for money and lastly it has a brilliant 19th hole.
