Whether you are in search of long walks and country air, fine food and wine, are a keen golfer or just a beginner, an avid fisherman or an enthusiastic novice, the Roxburghe Hotel has everything you need for a perfect break in the beautiful Scottish Borders.

Owned by the Duke of Roxburghe, the hotel nestles amongst well-tended woodlands on the banks of the delightful River Teviot. All of the 22 bedrooms have been individually designed, many by the Duchess of Roxburghe herself. Some have four-poster beds and log fires. All have a unique and charming character.

The Scottish Borders is renowned for the quality of its fish, meat, game and local produce - all of which is cooked to perfection by Roxburghe's Chef Alasdair Stewart - one of Scotland's rising stars. To complement the cuisine there is an extensive list of wines from around the world including a selection of fine and rare wines from the Duke’s own cellar.

Lunch is available in the relaxed atmosphere of the Library and Dinner is served in the hotel's elegant dining room.
