In my golf course review I thought it was a fantastic course a good design and a tough challenge off the back tees. I did find that it felt like there was no atmosphere around the course, you hear the hum from the M25 all day long which I did not enjoy. I would rather play Sunningdale but overall a great course. Found that you get a good welcome from all and the food is first class.
A good day out.

In my golf course review of the Walton Heath Golf Club Old Course I thought it was a fantastic courses and that it deserves its ranking as one of the top courses in the UK. The course itself is very challenging mainly as result of the deep and steep bunkers which I gave a 10 rating. Another interesting facet that adds to the challenge of the course is the heather, which is a hazard for any wayward shots. The course has a great layout which shows in its Herbert Fowler design.
