The Course was a lot better the second time round and although I still didn't like the first few holes I really enjoyed the later half of the course. When I played it the greens were much better and the putting surface was really true. The day I played the wind was really strong and the long par 5 was 9th was huge into the wind Driver, 2 Iron and a 6 Iron to get home. So this course can give a really challenging game when the wind blows with some really challenging holes.

The Wareham Golf Course has two totally different nines in that you may as well be playing two different Golf Courses. The first couple of holes are all played in an around the clubhouse, which is very disconcerting as there is a lot of activity. The front protects itself with loads of heather and gorse and is a typical heathland Course forcing the golfer to hit straight. On the front nine there is the only par 5 on the course which off the back tees is huge into the the prevailing wind. The second nine is a lot more challenging and exciting but very exposed to the prevailing wind. The 12 th hole is definately the signature hole on the course and deserves its stroke of 1. The par 3's are very challenging and the vary between 140 to 170 yards so they test the long and the short irons. In general the course let itself down with really bad greens which were very inconsistent and carried loads of nap due to lack of cutting. The bunkers were stone filled and the golfers added to this by not raking them so anything in the bunker was in trouble. The general manicuring of the course could be summed up as untidy and although there was no litter around the course looked tatty and unkept.

During my Wareham Golf Course Review I found the ease of booking the round to be superb and I rated the accessibility of the course as 10 out of 10. I experienced a warm welcome on arrival and the availability of buggies and carts was good. The changing rooms, pro shop, practice range and putting green were all fair and could be improved however there is lovely scenery surrounding the course. We had a perfect timely tee off and the greens, fairways and tees were all very good. There was good course bunkering and course yardage marking throughout and the cleanliness and manicuring of the course was excellent. I had a good speed of play during the round and found the design of the course presented a real challenge. In summary for my Wareham Golf Course Review I rated my overall enjoyment of the course as 9 out of 10 and believe this course is brilliant value for money.

In my Wareham Golf Course Review I found booking the round to be very easy and the course was also very accessible. I was welcomed on arrival and getting around the course was also easy to do. I rated the availability of buggies and carts as 9 out of 10 and the changing rooms and pro shop were both superb. The practice range and putting green were good however they could be improved but the scenery and environment surrounding the course was fantastic along with the brilliant atmosphere throughout the course. I had a timely tee off and the tees, fairways and greens were all top notch. The course bunkering and course yardage marking were both excellent around the course and the cleanliness and manicuring of the course was also great. I had a good speed of play during the round and there is a real challenge presented by this course when playing it as well as an enjoyable 19th hole. In summary of my Wareham Golf Course Review I rate my overall enjoyment of the course as 10 out of 10 and think this course is excellent value for money.

Whilst reviewing the Wareham Golf Course I found the ease of booking the round very easy to do along with the course having excellent accessibility. I was greeted warmly on arrival and getting around on arrival was also easy. This course does not have a Pro Shop however the changing rooms and availability of carts and buggies was good. The practice range was fair and I rated the putting green 7 out of 10. The course has amazing scenery surrounding it and the atmosphere throughout the course was great. We had a perfect timely tee off and the speed of play during the course was very good. The course has excellent tees, fairways, greens and course yardage marking however the course bunkering could be slightly improved. The course is very well designed and the cleanliness and manicuring of the course was all very good. This design presents a very good challenge for golfers playing this course and the 19th hole was really good. In summary I thought the Wareham Golf Course was superb value for money as well as the very good overall enjoyment of the course.

For my Golf Course Review Wareham Golf Course I found that the Ease of Booking the Round is good and the Accessibility of Course is excellent. The course has pretty good facilities but the practice range is a little far to get to and it not easy to use before a round. On the course side I rated the Tees,Fairways and greens pretty good at 7 out of 10 but I found the bunkers weren't good and rated them 5 pot of 10. The Cleanliness and Manicuring of the Course is good but the Course Yardage Marking is poor and selecting clubs is difficult. In summary the Layout and Design of the Course rates 7 out of 10 and the Challenge presented by the Course is a good one. Lastly the course is good value for money and has a friendly 19th hole.

During my Golf Course Review of the Wareham Golf Course I found that the course was very similar to the Meyrick Park Golf Course this was due to tight tree lined fairways and loads of gorse bushes. The course itself has wonderful scenery and the golfer has sight of the Purbeck Hills from a lot of holes on the back nine. Although the course the has a great layout and design it has many holes that become more a lot more tricky than the designer intended when the wind blows. Finally the Wareham Golf Course has a great 19th hole with loads of character and a game here is good value for money and very enjoyable.
