Woodbury is a great place for a group of friends to play as an alternative to somewhere like Dartmouth Golf and Country Club. Its easy to get to, has great facilities and provides a very strong challenge to almost all golfers that will play there.

Pros:
1. Great facility overall
2. Excellent greens
3. Excellent fairways
4. Good balance between some tough holes and very playable holes (wind conditions dependant of course)
5. Great setting for the course and the layout of the holes is also excellent
6. A couple of notable holes to chat about in the bar afterwards.
7. Hotel facilities are very good and make for a good package option for most golf societies
8. The 2nd course is still a challenge and quite good fun to play on!

Cons:
1. Can play tough if the wind gets up
2. Water - play this at the wrong time of the year and or weather conditions and your game can be ruined as this course is very susceptible to being waterlogged.
3. Pro shop - it's ok but doesn't have huge amount of equipment in it.

Summary:

Well worth the visit and if the conditions are good you should have an excellent day there. When we played the greens and fairways were absolutely superb .. some of the best I've played on this year.
